How much does it cost to pour a candle?

Pricing is dependent on the size and style of jar that you pour into with options ranging from $22 to $39. We do not have a list of our jar options as they rotate regularly and seasonal offerings change.

Do you offer anything other than candles?

Yes! You can also customize room/linen sprays, reed diffusers, and wax tarts the same way you would a candle.

Do I need a reservation to pour candles?

It depends! If you have less than four people, you are welcome to walk in any time, but there may be a wait to be seated on busier days. If your group has four or more people, we strongly recommend a reservation.

Can I take my candle with me once it’s poured?

Unfortunately, no. When the candles are poured, they will be liquid, hot wax and require at least an hour and thirty minutes to set and cool before they can be taken home. Larger candles can take two hours or more to set and cool. It is important that our candles cool entirely before they are picked up to ensure they will burn properly. We will not release any candles before they are ready.

If I cannot pick up my candle the same day, do you hold onto it?

Of course! We hold onto candles for an entire year from the date they were poured. We can also ship your candles to you if you’re not local to Cincinnati!

When is the latest I can come to pour candles?

We stop welcoming new candle-pourers 30 minutes prior to close (6:30pm Mon. – Sat. and 4:30pm Sun.).

Can I reuse my candle jar?

Yes! If you purchased the jar from us, you can most definitely reuse it. We just ask that you do your best to clean it out as best as you can. We will re-wick your jar and have it ready for a second chance at life. We will take 15% off the price of that same jar so that you can enjoy it again and again! Don’t want to reuse the jar, bring it back and we will take $1 off your purchase for each jar you bring back. Learn more!

Can I bring my own jars to fill?

Unfortunately, no. Due to several science-y things, we can only use jars that we have extensively tested to ensure they burn just right for you!

Is there an age requirement to pour candles?

No, we have had people ages 2-92 pour candles with us! We simply recommend offering a hand with children on the more difficult steps of the process.

Can I bring in food and drinks?

We do not allow outside food or beverages into our stores. The process of making a candle is generally pretty quick, so we recommend grabbing a bite to eat or a drink while your candles cool!

Our Products

What are your candles made of?

Our candles are made with natural soy blend wax, pure fragrance oils, and cotton paper wicks. They are paraben, phthalate, carcinogen, and mutagen-free, not tested on animals, and blended with premium ingredients with no fillers or chemical additives. Our fragrance oils are a blend of synthetic and essential oils (when available in nature), and do not contain any additional chemicals to artificially enhance their scent throw at a lower cost (as many manufacturers do).

What if my candle isn’t burning well?

We hand-pour each and every candle in our two Cincinnati stores and take a lot of pride in their quality! If you feel your candle is not burning properly, please bring it back to our stores we will fix or replace your candle. Do you sell gift cards?

Yes! We sell gift cards in-store and can you also purchase physical and e-gift cards online! Please note, physical gift cards can only be used at our two Cincinnati stores. E-gift cards can be used in-store as well as on our website!

I received a candle as a gift and don’t love the scent. Can I swap it for another?

Of course! We want our customers to love their candles. If you’re local to Cincinnati, bring the candle back to either of our stores and we would be happy to exchange any unburned candle for a scent you love! If you live out of the area, send us an email at [email protected] and we will take it from there.

Ordering Online

I made a custom candle in-store that I love. Can I recreate it online?

You sure can! Head to our Custom Blends section, choose the vessel you’d like to pour into, and select the scents from the drop down menus. You can even name your candle and specify how much of each fragrance you’d like!

Do you offer free shipping?

We do! All online orders over $50 ship for free. Please note, wholesale and special orders do not ship for free.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately we do not have a method of shipping internationally at this time. We hope to someday offer this to our customers!

How long will it take for me to receive my order?

We strive to ship all orders within 1-3 business days! Custom orders can add additional time as these are all poured by hand. We use UPS Ground shipping for most orders within the lower 48 which typically takes another 1-3 business days to arrive. Please note that these times can be extended around the holidays as well as during sales.

Why is my gift card not working online?

Unfortunately our physical gift cards that were purchased in-store do not work on our website. However, we would be happy to issue you an electronic gift card to use on our website as a replacement! Please email [email protected] with the 16 digit gift card code and we’ll email you an e-gift card to use online. Thank you for your understanding!
