Celebrate Pride with Candle-making and a DIY Floral Arranging Workshop!
Join The Candle Lab Newtown and Christina The Flower Lady for a fun evening of pouring your own custom candle and creating your own small Rainbow flower arrangement—a perfect way to celebrate Pride with friends, family, and allies! 10% of the proceeds from each ticket will be donated to our friends at Treehouse Cincinnati, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that aims to create an intersectional LGBTQIA+ and ally space rooted in creative advocacy and support.
Candle Making:
The staff at The Candle Lab will guide you through the process of making your very own custom-scented 6oz candle tin! With over 120 fragrances, we’re willing to bet you’ll find more than a handful you’ll love. Maybe you’re in the market for a Summer refresh or something else entirely! That’s where our Scent Stylists come in – we’ll help you narrow down your list to just a few scents that blend perfectly together. You’ll design your label and mix your oils to create your unique custom scent, which you’ll then pour and stir. While the candles cool, you’ll begin working on your flower arrangement!
Floral Arranging:
With Christina, founder and owner of The Flower Lady OTR, you’ll learn step-by-step techniques to design and arrange a stunning, small bouquet in a vase using beautiful rainbow flowers. Whether it’s with a friend, a significant other, or just by yourself, this class is the perfect way to celebrate Pride and walk away with a gorgeous rainbow arrangement and custom-scented candle!
Materials & Workshop Details:
All materials, including premium flowers, vases, and floral supplies, are provided. Water will be provided. Just bring your creativity! Please arrive on time, as the workshop will begin once everyone are present.

Parking info:We have a small, private parking lot along our store front, but additional public parking can be found on Main Street before the Newtown Feed Store and Dairy Corner. Please do not park in our neighbor business’ parking lots.
